Head of Analytics (Product & Marketing)

We’re at a point of rapid scaling. The company is currently facing classic growth challenges. Historically, our analysts have worked within cross-functional teams. This gives them great product immersion, but right now we’re critically lacking a unified strategic hub. We’re looking for a Head of Analytics. Your goal is to consolidate expertise, select the right technology stack, and establish a systematic approach to data for the entire company.
Our ideal candidate
- We are looking for someone with at least four years of experience in data analytics;
- You will need practical experience managing a team and leading complex projects that involve multiple departments;
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential. This is necessary to effectively advocate for technical decisions to developers while also understanding the business challenges faced by marketers;
- Your technical foundation should include a solid grasp of SQL, Python, and modern visualization tools;
- We also value a conceptual understanding of how cloud storage works and the Modern Data Stack;
- Additionally, you must be fluent in business language and have a strong grasp of product metrics, funnels, and user acquisition principles.
Primary responsibilities
- You will take on the role of the primary driver of our analytics strategy;
- Your key task will be to bring together the technical team, marketing, and the business side to make joint architectural decisions;
- Initially, we expect you to conduct an audit of the current infrastructure. Next, you will need to carefully select the optimal cloud storage solutions, BI systems, and tracking tools;
- Scaling events will be the first major project. Here, you’ll need to act strategically: define requirements and manage resources for the technical implementation of pipelines, but not write them from scratch yourself;
- Organizationally, you will build an internal Center of Excellence. The goal is to bring analysts together into a cohesive team and establish mentoring processes. At the same time, it is important to maintain their effective work in cross-functional groups;
- Overall, we need to transform analytics into a user-friendly internal service. In this service, product expertise must seamlessly integrate with marketing attribution data and unit economics;
