QS Games is a Ukrainian product-based game studio that creates farm and city-building games while fostering a strong team of professionals. We believe that the most valuable asset of a company is its people, which is why we strive to build a culture of trust, openness, and professional growth.
We are currently looking for an HR Business Partner who will become a strategic partner for two of our teams (39 specialists). This person will support a comfortable and productive work environment while helping the business grow. The role requires an analytical approach, a deep understanding of HR processes, and the ability to find solutions that contribute to both employee development and business efficiency.
Our HR department is a team that takes care of 170+ people at QS Games every day. We have a Head of HR and three HR Business Partners who support various project teams, helping them develop, grow, and feel comfortable.
We work closely with the brand manager and event department to build a strong employer brand, foster engagement, and organize events together.

- Understands business processes and can make data-driven decisions based on analytics and key metrics.

- Possesses strong communication, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
- Has analytical thinking, a strategic mindset, and a proactive approach.
- Willing to engage not only in HR processes but also in recruitment.
- Experience in HR within product-based or game development companies is a plus.
Primary responsibilities
- Collaborate with team leads to build a strong HR strategy that aligns both employee and business interests.
- Oversee all stages of the employee lifecycle: onboarding, development, Performance and Salary Review, training, and offboarding.
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with team members, gather feedback, and promptly address critical issues.
- Support leads in handling complex cases related to team management and employee performance.
- Plan and monitor the salary budget, assessing the economic feasibility of staffing decisions.
- Actively participate in developing and implementing initiatives aimed at increasing team productivity.
- Analyze team workload and work together with the PM and producer to make optimization decisions.
- Build trusted relationships within teams and, alongside the producer, act as the team’s voice to senior management.
