Recruitment Manager
Hi!
At QS Games, we create casual worlds where players build cities and farms. But now we have our own quest—to find someone who can help us find the best talent on the market. We need an experienced recruiter who loves GameDev, knows how to connect with creative people, and values freedom of action.
Our ideal candidate
- We are looking for someone who already has at least 3 years of experience in recruiting, and has spent at least part of that time in GameDev or IT.
- You need to understand the specifics of our professions: for example, how a 2D Artist differs from a UI/UX designer, and where to find them.
- Your English should be at the Upper-Intermediate level or higher so that you can comfortably work with documentation or communicate with foreign candidates.
- Systemic thinking. You know how to view recruiting as a project: analyze metrics, build reports, and use data to suggest ways to optimize budgets or the team’s time spent on interviews.
- Most importantly, we are looking for someone with strong soft skills. We are looking for someone who can write competent and personable letters, negotiate, and build warm relationships with both the team and candidates.
Primary responsibilities
- You will manage the entire hiring cycle: from the moment the manager says, “We need someone” to signing the offer. We are looking for a wide variety of specialists: artists, game designers and developers, so it will definitely not be boring.
- It is important for us that you become a true partner for our hiring managers. This means that we expect you to provide expert opinions: you will help formulate realistic requirements, advise on where to look, and give honest feedback on the market.
- Working with both processes and people. We expect you to not only work with existing algorithms, but also improve them. Your task is to identify bottlenecks in the hiring funnel, propose solutions to eliminate them, and make our hiring process transparent and predictable.
- Data-driven approach. Together, we will build a data-driven decision-making system. Therefore, we will work with analytics (time to hire, stage conversions, source effectiveness) and use these figures to justify business decisions and build a search strategy.
- Of course, you will have to do a lot of searching. We expect you to know how to find candidates not only on LinkedIn or Djinni, but also on ArtStation, Behance, or GitHub, if necessary. And also — to conduct interviews in such a way that even after being rejected, the person is left with a pleasant impression of the company.
