Business Development Manager

QS Games is a Ukrainian game development company that is undergoing a transformation and laying the foundation for a future European ecosystem with a focus on publishing. We are working on our own web and mobile projects in the farm/city builder genre and are simultaneously expanding our presence in the publishing sector.
The QS Games team already has 170+ specialists, and we are now looking for a Business Development Manager to help us find and build partnerships with studios, systematically develop the BD direction, and, in the future, partially lead it. Previous experience in BD and/or game publishing is critical for this role.

Our ideal candidate
- Has 3+ years of experience in BizDev / publishing / UA / partnership management in game development
- Understands mobile game development, HC/Hybrid/Casual genres, market trends
- Able to establish initial contact and maintain dialogue
- Analytical, structured, responsible, independent
- Willing to work with and develop strategy
- Strives for professional growth and results-oriented work
Primary responsibilities
• Scouting indie and small studios in Europe: AppMagic, itch.io, Steam, mobile stores, Discord/LinkedIn communities
• Making initial contacts: outreach, leads, relevance assessment
• Making introductory calls to studios and basic qualification
• Gathering information about the project, metrics, team fit
• Coordinating the next steps: organizing game evaluation, testing
• CRM support, creating and maintaining studio profiles, monitoring statuses and tasks
• Preparing basic proposals, introducing studios to the process
• Supporting studios until the pre-greenlight stage
